Pelion School of Dance opened it's doors in 2008, and is a "sister" studio to
Gilbert Studio of Dance Arts. It is located at
515G Pine Street in Pelion, SC, behind the Flower Shop. Under the direction of
Linelle Yates, Pelion School of Dance is dedicated to providing a professional atmosphere and a high quality of dance education. Students from 2yrs. through Adult can enjoy classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Clogging, Pom Pon, Hip Hop, and Praise Dance. Combination classes such as Tap/Ballet, Tap/Jazz, or Pom Pon/ Hip Hop are offered for ages 10yrs and under. BASIC gymnastics is included in most combination classes for balance, strength, and flexibility.
Infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers can enjoy fun music classes through the nationally known “Music Together” syllabus.
